When I was first diagnosed with spondio-Arthritis, diclofenac sodium was the last thing they tried in me, with low expectations, but it was the first and only med that actually cleared me up. My arthritis was bad to the point of me needing crutches and the morning after taking my first dose, I could freaking cartwheel. No exaggeration.
Yes it is
Yes. Effexor is an antidepressant and antianxiety, and Diclofenac is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug). These two meds can be taken together, but while on the Diclofenac, do not take any other NSAID's, unless instructed by your doctor to do so. Your pharmacist can also advise you on this, as well as any other meds you may be taking.
Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), available as a potassium salt (immediate-release) or sodium salt (delayed-release).

If you meant, diclofenac, it is a pain and inflammation medication. Frequently used for arthritis sufferers.
Diclofenac is a time released NSAID (non-steroidal anti inflamitory drug) Basically it is a prescription strength aleve or ibuprofen. I was switched to this medication after I decided that I had enough of oxycodone and Oxycontin (which are very effective but also very addictive). In my opinion, they are not very effective. I have two fractured vertibre and they don't do much for the pain.
Diclofenac belongs to the class of drug known as NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory). Combination with other over-the-counter pain relief drugs should be limited to acetaminophen (Tylenol and the like). Taken as directed, and not taken for prolonged periods, this combination should be fine. However, do not take diclofenac in combination with other NSAID pain relievers, as it will greatly increase the chance of stomach and liver problems, including bleeding ulcers and other serious conditions.
