In my opinion, I think that there is a cultural revolution going on in the early 21st century. There are many cultures that are joining together and combining their ideas, as well as different cultures that are breaking apart from one another. I think that people moving around and finding new ideas and discovering new cultures are changing the ways that they think, feel and act. There are so many different people in the world with different thought, feelings and views and all of these people are causing a cultural revolution. Many children these days are participating in activities that are not for their age group. Children who are 13-15 are experimenting with drugs, sex and alcohol. I think that children are experimenting with these things because of the media and seeing older siblings doing these activities. There are many children that look up to individuals and want to try these different things because of the people that they look up to. Television is a big reason why children and even adults are trying different things. The media is showing individuals drinking alcohol and experimenting with drugs and sex. When people see this happening, they also want to try. This is affecting how individuals are acting and their point of views on different things. I understand that the world is changing and a lot of people have different views on topics. One of the topics that I feel very strong about is interracial relationships. In the past, it was not allowed. Anyone marrying a person that is a different color was forbidden. Today, it still may be looked down on, but there are so many people that accept it and understand that love doesn't involve someone's religions or skin color. I think that the cultural revolution is doing very good things for people, while so hurting others.
