use twist ties (like those that come in baggies) and gentl tie branches down, to direct them out as well as up. I had a huge garden of giant shrubs at one time doing it this way... Just like you would stake plants in your food garden.
ABSOLUTELY!! The reason is, with a bushy plant you can get more of a yield. With a tall skinny plant you don't really get much of a yield at all.
Yes
Marijuana is a somewhat weedy plant and may grow as high as 18 ft (5.4 m).
Marijuana comes from 2main types of plants the sativa which is a tall plant with skinny leafs and the indica plant which is short with thick leafs.
Marijuana plants are relatively bushy, have slender, 7-fingered leaves (two big and five small), and generally look a bit like their distant cousin, the nettle. When I was a student my roommates (no, honest!) grew marijuana plants that were about as tall as a grown man. In the 80s, before the Dutch police started patrolling with helicopters, marijuana was popularly grown in corn fields, because corn grows about as high and can therefore be used to shield the marijuana plants from view.
The average of a marijuana's plant height is 8.6 - 11.5 feet. Also you can train your plant to be more bushy then tall, then you can get it as low as 2.5 feet high.(lol) The Tallest marijuana plant recorded is 14.1 feet.
oh you see this is because you are cutting off the tip of the plant ..where auxin is produced! without auxin(plant hormone) the plant would not grow and so it would start becoming bushy from sides cause it cant grow ! :)
Depends on how much bud it produced, and the potency of the bud.
If it is a male plant it could grow 100 feet and still not bud, for only females deliver such delight.
Very tall trees, that are bushy so they can hide.
Its a plant so...If you believe in god then god if not evolution. Cannabis is a genus containing a coarse, tall, hairy annual herb that provides fiber from its stems, oil from its seeds and drugs from its leaves and flowers. In short, cannabis is a plant and nobody invented it. No one "created" marijuana. It's a plant.
You can pretty much Bonsai any type of tree or shrub. So yes, you can make "dwarf" marijuana plants. But without genetically modifying a pot plant there are Indica plants that are shorter and fatter so to say in stature compared to a Sativa plant which are tall and thinner.
fall plant with tall stalks
There is no way to determine exactly how much one plant will yield. There are many determining factors such as the strain, amount of direct sunlight the plant receives, plant stress, plant size and nutrients used. Generally a well taken care of plant that is around 6 ft. tall will yield anywhere from 1-2lbs.
