There is no scientific research that I'm aware of which supports this claim, and from SWIM's experience he cannot say that the drug consistently produces such effects - so in the strict sense of the word, LSD is not an aphrodisiac.
However, he can say that in certain situations, the drug can certainly act quite powerfully to increase sexual desire. Timothy Leary claimed in a Playboy interview that LSD was "the most powerful aphrodisiac ever discovered", and it is easy to find testimonies from people claiming to have had amazing sex whilst on the drug.
