Anemia, meaning lack of blood, causes a person to have a fewer amount of blood cells. The few amount of blood cells means less oxygen and every part of your body needs oxygen in order to move or survive.

Anemia is either caused by lack of red blood cells for various reasons, or due to iron deficiency. Iron allows red blood cells to carry oxygen to your body. If you don't have as many red blood cells to carry the oxygen, you will feel more tired due to less oxygen to your brain and muscles. If you don't have enough iron to attach oxygen to the red blood cells, same result. Less oxygen, less energy.

Why do people with anaemia get tired?

Sufferers have less haemoglobin in the blood which means their blood carries less oxygen than normal. If your organs and brain in particular don't get much oxygen then they cannot create energy causing a perceived fatigue.

What type of anemia is a deficiency of hemoglobin due to lack of iron in the body?

In my case it is "chronic anaemia" where "chronic" means "lasting for a long time". It can also be called "pernicious anaemia". The problem occurs when the body cannot make the B12 vitamin from the food which has been digested, so the alternative is to have a B12 injection every 3 months. One effect of lack of B12 is that you become very tired much more easily.

People with anaemia have fewer red blood cells than normal people these people become breathless and tired easily why?

because if they have fewer red blood cells then they will not be able to absorb as much oxygen (what with haemoglobin and all) this means they must breath more and this, well, is tiring. also respiration requires more oxygen than anaemic people can supply
