It means that he viewed you as a conquest and now post coitus has sought new quarry he may be bored with you!
Usually its because they are busy or doing something else, unless you did something to irritate them, then they might be ignoring you.

He can be upset with you, somthing is bothering him and he doesnt wanna talk about it, you could be anoying him and he wants to be left alone, or maybe its not you who he wants to talk to but maybe somebody else...as for example he could be cheating on you....
It can mean these things or that maybe to a sense... you can make him sad..
this is not common but could be some of the problems that happen
There can be a couple that used to be close but then somthing happens when they suddenly have to move and they end up having a long distant relationship. They can probably text or skype or somthing but they wouldnt really have the chance to SEE each other like they did before. To the guy, this might hurt him to continue to comunicate with his girlfriend because he knows he cannot see you anymore like he used to and it would be no choice but to call it quits.To a guy, seeing the one they care about matters ALOT to them,trust me, ive been through this situation with a boyfriend.
So in most cases, it could be that he wants to let go...
Sometimes it can be hard to do but accept it as it is, and find the way to let go yourself...
When you tend to grow attatched to people and you are unaware of curtain outcomes that can happen.. it hurts alot in the end.. trust me.
