You should really find out what the reasoning is that women don't go back there because that would indicate he/they may be hiding something; whether it be as harmless as porn or as bad as drugs. And I say this from personal experience.
I would also avoid any relationship with guys that hang there. If this room is in a public place and the men using it can't behave in a manner suitable for a public place then I don't think I'd care for them in a less public setting. And I say this from personal experience.
