No, all sugar is not unhealthy.Fruits, honey and good quality branded jaggery is healthy if taken in moderate proportions. But always keep in mind that all type of sugar can increase weight, so the bottom line is bad quality sugar (that is mainly processed white sugar)should be replaced with above mentioned good quality sugars as far as possible. But if you are willing to decrease your body weight then you are to take even the good quality sugars in a moderate quantity only.

Sugar-free foods are only a cause for concern if they contain artificial sweeteners (saccharine, sucralose, Aspartame, etc.) as a substitute for sugar. It's better to enjoy a small amount of sweets with natural sweeteners than to pig out on artificially sweetened foods. If you look closely at the nutrition information on the label, you'll see that sugar-free foods often have almost as many calories as the regular version. If you are worried about calories, it's not worth the effort. However, if you are concerned about empty carbohydrates because you are diabetic or have another insulin-resistance disease such as PCOS, you may want to pick treats or snacks that are naturally low in carbohydrates instead.

A long time ago some famous person said that we should be governed by the mean. He meant the arithmetic average. For example, don't eat too much but don't under eat. Given that background, the right amount of sugar in the blood is not only not harmful to our health but required for our health. Too little sugar or too much sugar and a person could die. Most of the time, in people without sugar Diabetes, our bodies store excess blood sugar, and our bodies will also release (for example, by digesting starch) sugar into the blood when there is too little blood sugar. Diabetes may start by my making the adjustment to sugar extremes too slowly, allowing excess sugar or low sugar to further stress the adjustment mechanisms. If that is too complicated, try this: is temperature harmful to our health? Whatever answer seems reasonable to that question, you may use for your question.
