Diclofenac is not addictive at all. People often take it for years for Arthritis or other inflammatory conditions. The problem with it is that it can upset your stomach with prolonged use, and it can cause stomach ulcers eventually. I take it for arthritis when required but my doctor gave me omeprozole to take with it because that helps to protect the stomach and stop stomach ulcers.
