It's different for everyone mainly depending on weight and tolerance.
well i have taken 18 and im still here
**** I would not take the advice above. 18 and still here is misleading. The amount prescribed by your doctor is all you should take so be on the safe side and don't exceed that amount by much.........It is you life and nothing to gamble with. I have heard of serious complications with 4 50mg and seen lesser problems with 7 50mg taken by people who come into the hospital. The only bit of advice the original answer is worth is that weight and tolerance do matter. Lastly, alcohol can increase respiratory difficulty if taken at night while intoxicated.
Tramadol comes in 25mg and 50mg. They are usually dispensed 25mg-100mg every 6hours as needed for pain. I would say anything over 150mg is too much.
It says to only take one, but I've taken two. But watch out, does slow the breathing.
People ages 16 and over are recommended to take 25-100 mg's (milligrams) every 4-6 hours and are not to exceed 400mg (milligrams) in a 24 hour period.
