Two drinks; Two hours.

∙ 9y agoIn the old days we used to say "one drink of alcohol per hour." And a drink was an ounce of 40-percent distilled spirit, a 12-ounce serving of 3.2% beer, or a glass of 13% wine. Now we know that's false. Everyone metabolizes alcohol at a different rate, drinks are stronger now and they give you more in a serving. If I was going out drinking to a bar I couldn't walk to - not likely because all the bars in my town are within walking distance of my house - I would go there in a taxi. Then I know I would be safe.
