it takes about 7 days for shrooms to be untraceable in a drug test. About twelve hours. I am assuming you are asking about psychadelics, and most drug tests are ill-equipped to detect them anyway. Not to worry. 1 to 3 days on a urine test several weeks on a serious test. Not usally part of drug screens

Like any drug, you build up a tolerance. With hallucinogens, tolerances are particularly effective for a few days after a trip so it's best to usually just wait about a week to really be sure you'll trip as hard as you can.
If, however, you have a ton of mushrooms and want to go on a weekend-long (or even week-long?) binge, you can. But the second and third (fourth, fifth, etc.) days will require vastly more mushrooms than the first day.

While I appreciate the attitude of the above answer, I think the person asking the question was more concerned with the long-term dangers of regular usage over months or years.
Here is a quote from shroomery.org:
"There are no long term physical effects from ingestion of mushrooms containing psilocybin and psilocin. As far as long term mental effects go this is a subject for debate and has no clear cut answer based on the little bit of research and clinical studies that have been done"
There is anecdotal evidence for users becoming less in touch with everyday reality after long-term usage of any hallucinogenic - becoming more eccentric or "out there" and less "on it" than non-users, but this could be to do with the confounding factor of multiple drug use.
about 7 days but it will still be in your hair for a long time They'll last roughly around 4-8 hours, depending on the dose
