It takes about 2-3 hours depending on your size and how your original tubal was done. Filshie clips and rings are easiest to reverse. It also depends on your size. If you have a normal BMI then it will be quicker and your incision will be smaller. On average the incision is about 3 1/2 inches, a bikini cut, and if you have already had a c section then they will use your old scar. If you have it done microsurgically, then you will have a faster recovery. It takes about 10 days to feel like your old self again.
