you wont necessarily die. i slit my wrists - for reasons i wont even begin to explain - and i sure as hell am alive. i just make sure i don't dig deep enough to kill myself. but if your planning on killing yourself by slitting your wrists, i seriously wouldn't advise it, because its possibly one of the most slow and most painful way to die.
