Ok, so please allow me to start by trying to explin what ecstasy or X does. The way X works is, the chemicals in the drus forces your brain to fire signals into your body to let out all the dopamine you currently have stocked up.

If you're wondering what dopamine is, it's a very powerful chemical made inside your body naturally to increase the feeling of pleasure... like when you climax during sex.

So, it forces your body to release all the dopamine it has stored up, and while this may sound all good, and many people swear that it's the best thing in life, you need to know the down sides to this.

X is created in labs... labs located in basements, garages, sheds... no better than meth labs to be honest. And there isn't a single distributor for X, so anyone anywhere with the knowledge of how to create X can add whatever they want to the drug. Sometimes poisons are used "just to add color".

It is also VERY difficult to control the intake of X, simply because you get caught up in the euphoric feeling that you just keep wanting more, and an OD (over dose) on X is more common that you can imagine. It was mostly due to the uncontrollable intake of X that many raves were cancelled or banned throughout the United States.

Lastly, well, there's more, but the main thing that I hope turns you off to X is that it melts your brain. The way X forces your brain to fire signals to release dopamine is not safe for the brain, and prolonged usage will result in your brain literally melting and you will be nothing more than a brain-dead user. And it's illegal, but the issue with legality hasn't ever really swayed anyone away from it.

X will mess you up, it's not as bad as heroin or cocaine, but anything created by testubes in a dirty basement has never really been good.

Very bad, its kinda bad for your body considering it can remove the serotonin which wont come back... serotonin is responsible for your moods (good/bad). It gives you this "I don't care" attitude and after a while gets overwhelmingly boring. The worst part of the drug is the addictiveness, ever since the first time I tried E i haven't been completely off it... its been years now and I have never lied to myself by saying I wont touch the drug.

But seriously people, I've noticed my life go down the hole and it was hard to get myself on a decent track again. People will constantly judge you and act different towards you, and you won't ever think the same way.

Ecstasy isn't bad for you. Studies have proven that it has no bad affect on the brain. The only thing that occurs is the release of all your serotonin which takes 2-3 months to become completely refilled.
