In Texas, the WIC program simply supplies families with children under five with certain foods. I do know, however, that they can direct you in which way to go when you need child care. There is Child Care Services in which you can apply at your assigned city workforce. There, they will give you an application to fill in which you have to have low income and work and/or go to school for a minimum of 25 hours a week. After qualification, you will be notified to bring in the past four check stubs, ss card of you and the child(ren) that you are seeking care for. The price for this most times is what you would pay in a week you pay in a month!
