not only a person's health but also animals, plants and the environment are affected greatly by long-term effects by pollution in our water and oxygen cycles, contamination of soil and water needed to grow vegetables and if that gets into the grass then all species from primary consumer to top carnivore are all in trouble. the e.coli that happened in walkerton, Ontario that is a severe example of what happens when garbage is not properly managed. Also it affects the animals

because they eat the litte peices of plastic thinking it's food.
