if there was less drug use out there in the real world i believe there would be way less crime too. most people who are out there robbing and hurting people for money are usually out to get money to fuel their habits. I believe that if there were also some sort of rehab for drug offenders rather then just jail the crime rate would also fall. people need to figure out why it is that they are doing drugs before they can quit. the jails and prisons are so full of drug offenders and once they are released they just go right back out there to do more drugs.

Keeping in mind that LSD was legal till June 1967 the social ramafacations are that"You area Hippie"or druggie.Or at most a "Dead Head" as the drug(LSD) was made more popular by the band The Grateful Dead and thier fan base. Also The Beatles having given it thier "stamp of approval" even as the Beatles took that back, the damage(if any) was allreday done.

LSD makes you stuck in neural loops which normally would be terminated in your cerebral cortex. if you are in a group, people around you will feed into these loops. If they are on LSD, the loops are effected between individuals, as they do are not shut off, and one will influence the other. As such, the effects socially are mediated by the personalities of the individuals within the groups.

On a larger scale, people also take up opinions or ideas, along side of self though aspects into their normal consciousness. As such, after the LSD episode, a person will then carry ideas not thought of beforehand, which were either manifested in a group setting, including media in the environment, and now lay on a conscious level. Think of a concept or view you have. It will be altered by the things stored in your memory you do not associate with it, the people around you, and environment at the time you take the compound. Thus it changes.

It doesn't really. Not many people do it and most of the people who do don't harm society because of their use. I guess you could say that LSD effects society because people who use it put money into the criminal underworld but that's still a stretch because most people who sell LSD aren't members of the typical criminal underworld.
