Telling her gently is a good idea, but you could just as easily go up to her and forget about sugar coating the truth. Just tell her flat out that you aren't interested anymore, because if you beat around the bush she won't get the right idea, and could possibly be lead to believe that your saying something completely diffrent than your intended message. And what ever you do, do not just stop talking to her without telling her. This is a horrible thing to do and it will leave her worse off than you talking to her about it.
