Twitching is commonly known as a clear manifestation of stress. You may have someone/something that is stressing you out, and the most logical thing to do~get rid of the stress factor. You may be nervous about (for an example) a speech that you have to do in front of your fellow co-workers or boss, and twitching is just your body's physical reaction to the emotional trauma. Try and stay calm and get whatever you have to do done with and that is just one of the ways you can cope with stress. Another thing (not to potentially scare you!:( Is that some cases (like eye or muscle twitches) means you are mentally disabled. Oh, and there is another symptom that involves hand twitching and it's called Hypoglycemia which is a form of Diabetes.... OH! I probably shouldn't throw all these medical terms at you unless you are diagnosed by your doctor. Depending on how bad your twitching is, if it persists, I suggest consulting a doctor/physician. Good luck! :D
You should speak to a doctor about getting your nose to stop twitching. Nose twitching can be a sign of nerve damage. It also can happen when people are tired or stressed out.
Tell it to stop. or take it to your doctor.
Try cutting your eye out of your face.
It depends on what's causing it to twitch. See a doctor.
I think you can stop it by just holding your nose when your nose is about to twitch, I have this problem too and its so annoying.
Often it is a mineral deficiency that causes the twitch - usually a magnesium deficiency.
To stop eye twitching, try reducing stress levels, getting enough sleep, and cutting back on caffeinated drinks. You can also apply a warm compress to your eye and gently massage the area to help relax the muscle. If the eye twitching persists or becomes severe, consult with a healthcare professional.
The suffix for cramps or twitching is "-spasm." For example, muscle cramps can be referred to as "cramps," and involuntary muscle twitching can be referred to as "twitching."
hey! i had twitching in my (left?) eye for a good long time. it returns every so often. i think it's due to nerve damage after accidentally inhaling copious amounts of evaporated paint thinner gases. not much u can do but chuckle at the frailness of the human body
Not sure how to stop it from twitching, but anxiety, depression, or stress can cause involuntary muscle twitches. An infection might also. Although it is very rare, worms can also move in your muscles!
Persistent eyelid twitching can be caused by stress, fatigue, caffeine, or eye strain. To alleviate the twitching, try getting more rest, reducing caffeine consumption, keeping your eyes lubricated with eye drops, and managing stress through relaxation techniques. If the twitching persists for more than a week or is accompanied by other symptoms, consult with a healthcare professional.
