If you get motion sickness from travelling, there are a few tips which I use to prevent it: (*all from personal experience...hope this helps!)
1. Don't stare out the windows, this is because when you're travelling, trees, fences and people flash before your eyes so quickly it confuses your eyes and then gives you that dreaded feeling.
2. Don't read or draw
3. Try to sleep.
4. Listen to music.
5. Keep a window or a fan handy.
