One way to set up personal boundaries is to spend time thinking about what you are willing and are not willing to do. This is done by analyzing hypothetical situations and the possible outcomes of said situations. By doing this, you can learn what you are prepared for, and what you are not prepared for. (i.e. having a child at an early age.) Setting boundaries is important, and should be made in advanced, and not while a certain problem is currently going on.
