It very much depends on what has upset you in the first place. If the discomfort is unexpected or severe, or if there are known medical issues, a call to your PCP's office is essential. Your belly may be upset because you have had too little to eat, in which case a light meal will help. You may have eaten too much, and eating more will only worsen the problem. If you have eaten too much, try resting and considering if a change in eating habits is in order. If there is acid reflux involved, try an OTC antacid as directed. If you have had difficulty urinating or voiding, check with your PCP, or if you can safely tolerate it, try an enema and/or diuretic.
