There is no simple answer to this.
What does he like, and what do you feel comfortable with?
Most guys are happy with sex by itself...but the act of sexual intercourse is for the both of you. doll yourself up with something sexy (remember, less is more!!!), have a nice dinner set out for the both of you, and buy satin sheets!!! (he'll love them, trust me!).
Now while he's out (and you're preparing for your wonderful night) send him some sexy text messages (unless it's a company phone!!! they won't like that.) Subtle at first like: I can't wait for you to come home, i have a surprise for you! It'll get his attention and bring his thoughts to you. then tell him (again subtly) that you've bought some new clothes you think he'll like. now that you've got him thinking of you in a physical sense, bring his train of thought to your body:

I'm thinking about you while taking a bath; etc. Now that you're sure that hubby's mind is on one track (yes, you and what he'll be doing tonight) It's time to prepare for what you'll do when he gets home...put on a revealing (but not too revealing) outfit (Ladies, it's time to break out that little (and i emphasize LITTLE) black dress).

Do whatever you need to do to get warmed up (reading a sexy novel or watching a sexy movie usually works for most women) and wait. When the husband comes home he'll be tempted to jump you! don't let him (after all you worked so hard on that dinner!!!). lead him to the dining room (or wherever you eat (Not the living room/Family room....TV dinner=not sexy) remember you're a temptress not a redneck!!!).
During dinner don't talk about work or something equally boring, instead subtly hint that your not wearing any underwear, and (this one will get pique his interest and get him going) let one of your straps slip down off your shoulder (do it on purpose and leave it there but make it look like an accident and that you don't notice). After dinner he's got only one thing on his mind....you!!!

lead him to the bedroom and strip him down (just him not you!) and slip him into the bed, tell him you'll be right back and leave (Remember those satin sheets? Yep, he'll be feeling that all over his body...and he'll love it!)
while you're gone slip on that nice new underwear (or lingerie ) and enter the room sensually...showing him only bits and pieces at a time...Now if your husband is the type to use props (handcuffs, whips, whatever...) show him the new (set of) *Whatever* you bought today and tell him you want him to try it out on you...
