well, to my recollection from when my drunken ex sprained his ankle after starting a fight with a street curb..lol..keep the foot elevated and free of tight materials..hourly put an ice pack on the swollen area and dont go walking around..i know its annoying but just rest it up..u might find that an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen would be helpful too but obviously, check that your not allergic!!! one word of advice tho..amazingly..a serious sprain can take longer to heal than a broken bone so take care of that ankle and also..if after a few days the swelling only increases..get down to the hospital stat as u may have trapped a nerve when spraining the foot which can be very dangerous as it can trap blood and lead to infections.

Well, one thing u can do is ice it.There is many ways to have a hurt foot. If you want to heal a sore foot you should probaly put your foot on pillows and make sure it is above only a little above your heart. Then while your foot is hurting take maybe a pain relief. There is tylenol, aleve, and many more pain relievers. Also putting a warm rag or clothe on your sore foot really helps the soreness and pain go away.
