It depends on the reason you lost your singing voice in the first place. If it is from a viral cold or sinus infection or from overusing your singing voice you will probably get it back. However, if you lose your voice from something such as cancer, you probably won't get it back.
you probablly can but eventually you will get over the cold and your voic will come back

You want to get people to notice your good singing voice? Here are some things you might want to try to get people to notice your singing: -If there is a talent show or something like that, sign up for it! It doesn't matter if you have a good voice or not. Join it! Sing! -If your friends wants to hear you sing, sing for them. They might think that you have a good voice and they'll tell people about how good your voice is, and others might want to hear you sing, too. -Sing in the shower. Get your parents to notice your voice and if they think it's good, they might ask you if you want to take voice lessons or not. -Sing when you're bored. Practice singing is always good (but not if you have a flu or cold. Let your voice rest when you have a cold). -Don't be afraid to sing in front of people if you want people to notice your voice. Yepp, that's what you might want to do. It's optional, though. If you're shy, you don't have to do it if you don't want to. You can always think of other ways to get people to notice your singing. I hope this help :) P.S. If you don't sing well, take lessons first!
Infection in the throat due to flu or cold can cause loss of voice. Also using the vocal chords for long periods like singing, lecturering, screaming, and shouting can strain the vocal chords to cause loss of voice
When you take voice lessons, you need to attend each lesson with a strong voice. It is best to drink plenty of water or warm tea with honey to make sure the vocal cords are strong enough to practice singing. If you have a sore throat or a cold, it would be best to not attend lessons until you get better.
Did you have a sore throat? if yes, then maybe it affected your voice for a little while. My cold stop a few days ago, plus i had a sore throat, but i couldn't sing very well without my voice sounding scratchy. it will probably get back to normal soon. hope this helped! ~D~
Yes. Becase your immunesystem is allready low and trying to recover after defeating the cold, so you end up more receptive to bacterias and such.
Inflammation of the larynx (laryngitis) can sometimes accompany common cold and can lead to hoarseness or loss of voice.
The medical condition where you lose your voice is called laryngitis. This is an inflammation of the voice box and often mimics the common cold until you lose your voice.
