"Risens" are commonly referred to as boils. They can appear anywhere on the body, and they are usually caused by bacteria.
Risens are a type of boil. Boils may cause by staphylococcus germs, which enter the sweat glands or hair follicles. The essential cause of this disorder is thus bacterial. However, several factors predispose the growth of bacteria in hair follicles. Of these, the chief factor is a toxic condition in the blood stream, which is due to a faulty diet and frenetic pace of living. Boils generally appear when a person is in a run-down and devitalized condition.
Get a hot towel as hot as you can stand it and sit it on the area where the risen is located if that don't work go see a doctor to get some antibiotics and what ever else treatment they are going to do
Risens and boils are known as abscess,It can be caused from immflamation of hair follicles,or from minor breaks or punctures of the skin, most often an abscess becomes a painful compressible mass that is red, warm to the touch and tender,as abscess progresses.it may come to a head.Pustular drainage and spontaneous rupture may occur, most abscesses will get worse without care and proper incision and drainage,it can spread into deeper tissue and even into the bloodstream,if the infection spreads fever, nausea, and increasing pain can develop, to care for it at home you need to apply warm compresses to area for about 30 minutes ,four times daily. Do not attempt to drain it by pressing on it ,this can push the infected material into the deeper tissues,do not stick a needle or other sharp instruments into the abscess because it may injure an underlying blood vessel or cause the infection to spread. If you start running fever you need to go to the doctor office..
