By changing your perspective about yourself. If you feel resentment after a relationship is long gone they you are either suffering from very low self esteem or you soley blame yourself for the mistakes caused in that relationship. Sit down and think or jot down things that made the relationship healthy when it was and things that caused it to tumble down and if you find the advantages were more or less, still there's no need to beat yourself up at all. Appreciate that you were happy and some point and even love if at all, then look yourself in the mirror and acknowledge the fact that you are still good looking enough to get back on the dating scene and promise yourself to do better next time.
