Well first off if the reason why you and your ex broke up is because of something you did then that is the reason why your friend is taking your ex's side. Because you were WRONG! Now if it was a mutual break up or it was your ex's fault then there could be more to this then meets the eye. Now like in every situation the obvious could be what is going on, your friend just wants to take their side. Simple as that. On the other hand maybe they have a thing for each other and don't want to really tell you about it or just plain don't know how to go about telling you. Your friend being the genius that they are is probably thinking that if your gonna probably get mad at them anyways then what does it matter if they take your ex's side. Best thing to do is just confront them about it. peace..
