be gentle with him, do not bring up anything to start an argument, do not make a big deal out of little things, just be there for him to listen to him when he needs to talk, do not pressure him to do so though or he will pull away. Another idea is to do something really fun and unusual with him when you guys are togather, like surprise him with ticket to a sporting event or concert. but over all just remind him that you care about him and that everything will be ok. i hope that this helps you with your situation.
