How do Proctor and his wife Elizabeth treat each other and What seems to be the problem in their relationship?

In my English class, we learned that she treats him very suspiciously and is still somewhat angry with him because she knows he had an affair with Abigail. The problem in their relationship is that he had this affair with Abigail and she watches his every move because she is suspicious and worried that this might happen again.
