Not bad at all. A half liter is about a pint, the normal amount taken when donating blood. In most cases the body will recover in a few hours and be able to work pretty normally, though there may be a bit of an energy lag for a couple of days. It is actually good for the body to insure that everything is working.

If it wasn't lost through donation, but through trauma, the trauma will cause more issues then the loss of blood.
