Normally they do not boss you around as that is not what a true friend does. Also he will talk to you and not ignore youj or make fun of you. Never be friends with racist people about you color or accent. It is highly effensive and is bad. First of all, do you only know this guy from online? If so, then he might just be looking for someone to talk to. If he hasn't mentioned meeting you in person, officially not just as an idea, then he probably has no intentions with the relationship advancing. Most of the time when someone opens up to a person online its because they feel that since this person does not know who they are in real life it will make the confessions easier. They are less likely to judge because they have no knowledge of what the person is actually like. He may like you, may say that he would date you if you lived in the same town or something like that. But the truth is, if you only know him online then you have NO IDEA what he does normally or how he acts in person or in the real world. But, if this is someone you know outside of the internet then he could just be looking for a friend also. Honestly, most guys won't understand what they are translating into text unless it is blunt. Meaning that they won't understand that what they are saying is being taken into an 'I like you' or 'I'm into you' way. They may see it as just being nice. So your best bet is to ask them out right. If you know this person outside of the internet and they never socialize with you before then it probably isn't worth it. If they are not willing to pursue you in real life then they are only interested because you dont' really know them.
