When my stomach is upset (of a nausea variety), I find that fresh ginger helps. Chewing it is the quickest way but if you find that intolerable, I also cut several chunks, press it with my garlic press to release some of the juice (over your water to catch it) and drop the rest of the ginger in a glass of water and let it steep a little. Then I will drink that. It seems to help.

If your upset stomach is more heartburn/acid reflux, I have heard that drinking dill pickle juice works wonders. I have a very highly educated friend who SWEARS by this remedy. I haven't tried it myself as I'm not prone to heartburn but it never hurts to try!
