that was rude of him to not tell you why he would break up with you, but he probably wasn't ready to be committed to you yet. i wouldn't think too much about it, and worry too much. if it's true love, i promise you that he'll be coming around again. and although five years is a really long time, sometimes things happen in a relationship, and guys get a little scared. it's easier for girls to be committed to one person, but guys' hormones are stronger than females, making them more opt to want to be with another girl. don't stress about it, though.
