One drawback for housing in a village there would be only a select few people who have the skills in Plumbing and electricity and other skills for fixing a home. The quietness of village living could be a drawback as well. Some environmental conditions could be sewage issues, lack of testing of water in village wells and health outbreaks can affect everyone in village before health officials are notified.
