It really sounds like a condition called 'spasmodic dystonia' it affects the muscles & can make the voice sound really strained. I wondered if she had that when I was watching one tree hill last week. I've had this condition & it's really horrible, it still affects me if I'm feeling stressed. It's really frustrating because you really want to get the words out but u can't... it just ends up sounding really strained. I obviously don't know for definite if this is what she has, but I wonder if it is.... Hope this kind of answers ur question. x
