Yes, it does work. After all of the trips to ER's, dr's offices, pharmacy's etc. either for myself or one of my children, a friend told me about Smile's Prid. I bought it less then a month ago. The trick is to put it on as soon as you find a spot. It somehow brings the boil to a head and draws it out.
I would love to buy a case of this stuff and give each Dr. we've dealt with about a dozen of these to give to patients.

Pressure cookers work because when you increase pressure, water boils at a higher temperature. Water normally boils at 212 degrees F. Under 15psi of pressure (standard in a pressure cooker), it boils at 257 degrees F. Since your food is cooking at a higher temperature, it will cook faster.
