Yes, it does. It is not an SSRI and so Serotonin Syndrome does not occur when the two are combined. Be very careful though - if you are prescribed Mirtazapine, you probably should avoid taking any recreational drugs. If you do choose to try MDMA or Ecstacy (always use a testing kit beforehand) try a very small amount first (less than 100mg) and wait for at least an hour. Be weary of cannabis whilst on Mirtazapine. Large quantities can stop the drug from working properly for a day or two. Be careful.
