cinnamon is actually said to be quite healthy but too much of anything can have negative effects. too much water can be bad for you. its not very good in excessive amounts on pregnant women. people on Diabetes medication/medication that messes with blood glucose or insulin levels shouldnt take big amounts either. Cassia cinnamon has coumarin in it which has been shown to have negative effects on the liver and blood thinning effects so if you are taking anti blood clotting medication, the cassia cinnamon shouldnt be taken as a supplement.
