Doctor said do not prick blisters on your skin why do you think he said so?

this is because it is filled with water and if you prick it, we will have infections.

∙ 8y agoGuess number one: Your skin, even with a blister, is a barrier against germs. If you put a hole in the blister, it is no longer a barrier. If course on myself, I clean the skin, burn the needle, prick near the blister's border, express the fluid, and press the blister down flat, but that's why I am not a physician (I do dangerous things).
