uhhh your baby is a zombie
A doctor can detect an irregular heartbeat during a physical exam by taking your pulse, listening to your heartbeat or by performing diagnostic tests.
Although the heart is beating, it is unusual to actually detect it this early. 8 weeks is a more common time for it to be detected, depending on your doctor's equipment.
No. The fetus is so small at that point sometimes it is hard to detect the heartbeat to hear it.
yes, you can see the heartbeat on an ultrasound.
A doctor would have to draw a small sample of blood and test it.
Not necessarily. Your doctor may not have the equipment that normally can detect the heartbeat in the early weeks. Also, some babies are actually younger than dates suggest , which can make the beat difficult to pick up. If you are very worried, you could request further tests such as measuring your hCG on two occasions or visit another doctor to see if they can detect it.
I'm no doctor but i would say absolutely not!! It can be still to soon. I didnt hear my sons heartbeat until i was almost 12 weeks since it was very faint. I was told because of position, etc that it couldve distorted it. Dont jump and do anything be patient and let nature do its course. I think she will be fine. Best wishes
You can see the babies heartbeat but not hear it at this point i saw my babies heart beat at 7wks 3days Hey-Last time I was pregnant, I heard my babys heartbeat at 5 week. It was beating at 180 beats per minuite. It was magical. Good luck!
Most likely your breathing, although he might also be listening for your heartbeat. This is so he can detect any problems with the timing of either, and also listen for signs of e.g. fluid in the lungs.
Normally a fetus heartbeat is not heard until 10-12 weeks with a doplar ultrasound device. With a stethoscope somewhere around the 17-18 weeks. 6 weeks is very early to be detecting a heartbeat! Good Luck!
