You mean you have a overbite? Braces can't do that. Surgery can though. Contact you doctor. First they have to see how big the problem is.
Not really. They are made to move your jaw into place and minimise your overbite before you get train tracks.
a little bit.
if they are attached to your bottom jaw, then its because they are moving your whole jaw back so it cant go as far as it could before, or because the back of the braces is anchored to your teeth.
It depends on how far you need your jaw pulled forward
if you have an overbite
Yup. Braces can fix almost any size of gap.
Yes! They sure can they move your teeth and jaw and all of that unnaturally the jaw can cause serious dizziness I have had my braces for two years and had to take lorazapam the dizziness was so bad message your jaw and look into chiropractic good luck!
Call your dentist! Explain what happened and make an appointment so you can get the plan for your braces changed to fix what went wrong.
Your teeth feel incredibly smooth, and, at least in the day of metal braces, your jaw feels lighter.
There isn't much you can do about that. Moving teeth deals with giving the jaw time to reshape itself, bone will have to be broken down and reformed. That can't really be rushed.
You can fix a slight overbite with a retainer. Speak with your dentist about options to getting braces for an overbite.
