Modern health care is care provided by the Medical field using drugs and/or surgery in order to alleviate a condition.
Alternative health care consists of herbal and holistic remedies in order to alleviate a condition. This treatment is based on the belief that something in your body is off balance, and alternative treatment is bent on repairing that.
The original answerer of this question stated that "Modern healthcare physicians are in it all for the money, while alternative physicians treat people the way nature intended." This is a very biased phrase, and is not at all true. Modern healthcare physicians are not just in it for the money, and statistically, regular healthcare does help people more. However, both have been proven effective in different situations.
