He really had one. But once he was holding the baby girl his sarong has been collapsed and fallen onto the floor. Forgetting the baby was in his hands his hands have automatically been moved in search for the collapsed cloth. But the baby had been fallen onto the ground and had been seriously injured. According to what i have heard she had died meanwhile with the shock and the hurting. Nowadays Sri Lankans believe that this has happened as a punishment for his wrong and dictatorial acts in politics, but as it cannot be proven scientifically I personally do not believe in such stories.
