I was prescribed dicyclomine for Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS), and i have taken more than the 10mg prescribed to answer this question myself. I found that it isn't what I would describe as an Eurphoric "high". Your vision becomes blurred to the point of not being able to read the newspaper. Also I couldn't sit still, as if I had restless leg syndrome(they would twitch!) So , no, it doesn't get you high, just UNCOMFORTABLE.
is dicyclomine a narcotic drug?
Dicyclomine is available only with a prescription and is sold as capsules, tablets (regular and extended-release forms), and syrup.
