You cannot remove your eye and still have use of it. It is not true that during eye surgery a doctor can lift the eye out of its socket and refit it with it still working. This would assume that the optic nerve has slack, ridiculous, and that the 4 groups of muscles which hold the eye and move it around can somehow be cut and rejoined.

The amount of people that believe an eye can be somehow removed and replaced still working is unbelievable.
