Yes, there is no problem in taking those 2 drugs together. However, you might see a little bit more dizziness and drowsiness in taking the 2 drugs the same day, but is a normal effect and should get better with time.

I do. My neurologist and psychopharmacologist both said it was OK. I take 150 mg lamictal and 25 mg topamax and in these relatively small dosages I've done OK. I take them for migraine prevention and bipolar.

This drug combination is NOT recommended. There is a fair amount of evidence that concurrent use of Lamictal and Depakote leads to accumulation of Lamictal and risk of Lamictal toxicity (fatigue, drowsiness, loss of balance) and an increased risk of life-threatening rashes.
