These two medications do not have a pharmacological interaction according to the literature. However, phentermine in higher and/or chronic doses can cause mood changes, and so can prednizone. Be certain to discuss this with your caregiver, so you know what to expect. If you don't expect mood changes and they occur, it can be pretty.... surprising.

Taking Medrol while taking phentermine isn't recommended. The reason for that is that phentermine decreases the effectiveness of the Medrol.
