Technically, Bystolic is usually taken once a day for high blood pressure. Taking it twice a day may not provide any additional benefit and could increase the risk of side effects. But hey, if you want to double up on your heart meds, go ahead and live life on the edge. Just maybe run it by your doctor first, just in case they have some pesky medical advice to share.

I just started on Bystolic. My doctor wants me to take 5mg every morning for one week then start taking 5mg twice a day, morning and evening. So apparently one can take Bystolic twice a day. Unless my doctor is a quack.
